The TTE6XX is the latest hybrid performance upgrade from TheTurboEngineers, developed for the BMW B58 3.0 six-cylinder turbo engine as applied in the Toyota Supra A90This turbo is designed to super-fast spool and response to be combined with a significantly higher performance potential, while the installation is completely plug & play stays.

The TTE6XX comes with a TTE high-flow turbo intake, performed as an OEM replacement while retaining the original electric heating and ventilation connectionsThis allows the upgrade to fit without modifications and retain OEM functionality.

For this upgrade the original compressor wheel is replaced with a much larger TTE billet compressor wheel with extended tip technologyThe compressor housing is CNC machined to optimal tolerances for maximum efficiency. On the turbine side, a larger 9-bladed high-flow turbine fitted, which reduces exhaust gas temperatures and increases power potential, while the low mass provides excellent boost response.

The result is a leading hybrid turbo that 600+ hp makes possible while maintaining drivability and reliability.

Balancing

Accurate balancing of the turbo is essential for durability and performance. All TTE turbochargers are first low-speed balanced in multiple planes up to 2800 RPM. After that, the complete CHRA high-speed VSR balanced up to 250,000 RPM on TTE's in-house VSR machine. Each turbo comes with a numbered balance test result document.
