The TTE1020 is the ultimate hybrid turbo upgrade for the EA825 4.0 TFSI engine and represents a serious step towards 1000+ hp performance while maintaining control, reliability, and fast spooling. This upgrade is designed for high-performance vehicles such as the Audi RS6 C8, RS7 C8, RS Q8, A8 60 TFSI D5, but also for Porsche Cayenne, Panamera and Lamborghini Urus.
For the TTE1020, larger TTE billet compressors mounted in combination with enlarged TTE 9-blade turbinesThe exhaust housing is CNC machined to accommodate the larger turbine and to optimize exhaust gas flow. On the compressor side, an advanced 5-axis CNC program applied to the compressor housing inlet to achieve maximum air mass and efficiency.
New turbos come standard with OEM/TTE1020 thermal heat insulation, which ensures lower engine compartment temperatures and increased durability under high loads. The result is a hybrid turbo solution with early response, strong midrange and extreme top-end performance.
Balancing
For maximum life and performance, all TTE1020 turbochargers are first low-speed balanced up to 2800 rpm in multiple planes. Then the complete CHRA high-speed VSR balanced up to 250,000 rpm on TTE's in-house VSR machine. Each turbo comes with a numbered balance test result document.
