After its launch in 1959, the classic Mini quickly became a global icon, especially after the collaboration with Cooper in the early 1960s to develop the legendary Cooper and Cooper S variants. The Cooper S was soon entered in the Monte Carlo Rally, where it sensationally won in 1964 and 1965. Production of the classic Mini ended in 2000, but was quickly replaced by the new generation BMW Mini. Scorpion For over 30 years, Minis has been producing performance exhausts for both classic and new Minis, and is the technical partner of the increasingly popular Mini Challenge race series, ensuring true technology transfer from the racetrack to the street. The new cat-back systems are manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel and were developed in conjunction with the Mini Challenge series as a direct replacement for the restrictive OEM systems. The non-resonated system for the R56, R57, R58 and R59 Features 70mm tubing, a non-resonated center section, an acoustically refined rear muffler, and can be customized with your choice of tailpipes. We currently offer 90mm Daytona polished, Daytona black ceramic, Ascari carbon fiber, and Monaco polished or black ceramic tailpipes. These new, professionally hand-built systems are designed to enhance power by increasing gas flow and perfectly balancing backpressure. Besides increasing power, drivers will notice a sharper throttle response. Using only the highest-quality materials in their development and motorsport expertise gained from over 20 years of experience in high-performance racing series, the cat-back systems emit a stunning exhaust note that is deeper than the original and produces a sound of pure quality.
