The turbocharger is installed in longitudinally mounted Audi/Seat/VW 1.8T engines, such as the Audi A4 B5 1.8T or Passat 3B 1.8T. The charger is a perfect fit and replaces the original. All connections are original, except for the turbo inlet, which is approximately 50mm. You will need the 50mm suction hose for this: CLICK HERE TO SEE
The software needs to be modified for the turbocharger. To achieve approximately 300 hp, the following must be installed: a silicone intake hose, 380cc injection nozzles, an intercooler kit, an upgraded manifold, a 200-cell sports cat, a minimum 63.5mm downpipe, and an exhaust system. With the correct modification to the control unit, up to 300 hp is possible.
Please note that the oil supply and return lines must be replaced after replacing the charger. These are available from your VAG dealer.
