The enlarged core volume improves cooling efficiency and reduces air intake temperatures. Of course, since this is a do88 performance product, we conducted thorough, rigorous, and continuous testing during the development of this product to ensure the best performance. No compromises were made. This intercooler is highly optimized for the given space, making it easy to install.
The 123% increase in core volume is an achievement we're proud of. It's a remarkable difference. You can feel it, to say the least. The engine pulls better across the entire rev range and withstands repeated full-throttle runs without heat buildup. The idea that an intercooler should only be upgraded after a major engine tune is false, but it's still widely held among customers and car enthusiasts. During hot Swedish summer days, with repeated acceleration, inspired driving, or even just driving in a warmer climate, the engine easily generates dangerously high intake temperatures—even in a standard, untuned car. The cooling capacity of an OEM intercooler is often inferior, which will affect usable power delivery. The heat must be eliminated, otherwise, the promised power will diminish as soon as you accelerate. With our intercooler, you can be confident that the power is always there.
This product comes with everything needed for easy installation, without any cutting or altering the original shape of the car. Bolts, washers, and mounting instructions are, of course, included.
