This offering involves the removal of the factory hydro-formed resonator section, which is then replaced with 70mm T304 stainless steel tubing, allowing for improved exhaust flow. In place of the factory resonator, CTS Turbo integrates a meticulously crafted X-pipe made from hand-bent tubing to minimize any restrictions. This X-pipe is a striking feature both in aesthetics and in its impact on the exhaust note. By incorporating this advanced “X” design, which deviates from the more common stamped X-pipes on the market, exhaust flow is more uniform, effectively promoting a balanced flow to both sets of exhaust tips. This design eliminates unwanted sound irregularities caused by uneven exhaust flow often experienced with stock systems, resulting in a refined and pleasing exhaust note.
