After a year of development, AIRTEC Motorsport is introducing a new oil cooler kit for modified Golf R owners experiencing oil temperature issues on the track or during high-speed road use. Developed in the UK, the kit features a large-capacity, external oil cooler mounted behind the grille for optimal airflow. It replaces the OEM oil heat exchanger and integrates with the car's original oil fittings. The kit includes AIRTEC's CNC-machined billet take-off adapter, oil cooler, laser-cut bracket, high-quality braided hoses with Aerotec fittings, and all necessary hardware for a bolt-on installation. Extensively tested on European racetracks, it consistently maintains oil temperatures below 110 degrees Celsius, significantly lower than the previous peaks of 127 degrees, making it an essential upgrade for modified Golf Rs.
