Airtec Motorsport intercooler upgrade kit for the Hyundai i20NDeveloped as an effective cooling upgrade for track use and sporty street use, this intercooler is designed as a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM part.
To prevent power loss during prolonged heavy loads, Airtec Motorsport has developed a larger and freer-flowing intercooler developed. Thanks to a smart stepped core design the core is higher and the depth increases to 130 mm, which makes maximum use of the available volume within the limited space behind the bumper.
This design results in a 71% greater capacity compared to the original intercooler and a 55% larger frontal areaThis makes optimal use of the available airflow and keeps intake temperatures more stable under heavy loads.
The inlet and outlet diameter is increased from 50 mm to 63 mm, which further improves airflow. The intercooler can be used in conjunction with the original pipework or with the Airtec Motorsport cold side boost pipe kit with larger diameter.
For optimal airflow, the intercooler is equipped with high-flow one-piece cast end tanks and a internal air ductThe kit is made in a high-quality black powder-coated finish and comes with Pro Hoses silicone couplings and reducers, all necessary mounting materials and detailed installation instructions.
