The focus is on maximum airflow, maintaining low intake temperatures, improved throttle response and a sportier intake sound. Airtec has developed this intake completely in-house and bases the design on previous successful enclosed induction kits for other performance models. The result is a comprehensive system that not only replaces the airbox, but the entire intake tract from air feed to turbo inlet . This makes this kit unique within the range for the Megane MK4 RS. The kit features an enlarged turbo inlet flange with improved flow that is mounted directly onto the turbo. This connects to an enlarged Pro Hoses silicone intake hose , followed by an aluminium intake pipe and a large cotton air filter . The filter is fully enclosed in a four-piece enclosed airbox and is continuously fed with cool air via the original air ducts. This design keeps intake temperatures low , while significantly improving power, throttle response, and induction sound. The intake is finished in a high-quality black powder coat and provides a sleek OEM+ upgrade to your engine bay. Installation is completely plug-and-play , requiring no drilling or cutting, and all mounting hardware and instructions are included.
